Key Responsibilities – Assistant Manager (Operations) – Kotak Bank
Based on the assigned branch and operational requirements, the Assistant Manager (Operations) will be responsible for the following:
Branch Operations & Account Handling
- Handle day-to-day branch operations related to savings and current accounts (CASA)
- Ensure smooth account opening, activation, and servicing processes
- Verify KYC documents and ensure adherence to RBI and bank compliance norms
- Coordinate with internal teams for timely processing of transactions and requests
- Monitor operational checklists, registers, and system entries for accuracy
Customer Service & Relationship Support
- Address customer queries related to accounts, transactions, cards, and services
- Ensure high standards of customer service and satisfaction at the branch
- Support customers with documentation, form filling, and process guidance
- Resolve operational issues by coordinating with backend and support teams
Compliance & Process Management
- Ensure strict compliance with RBI guidelines, AML norms, and internal policies
- Maintain proper records, reports, and MIS related to branch operations
- Support audits, inspections, and internal reviews by providing required data
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors
Branch Support & Coordination
- Support branch manager and team in achieving operational efficiency
- Assist in cross-functional coordination between sales, service, and operations
- Contribute to overall branch performance through effective operational control
